Actually, you responded by claiming that it was "more expensive" then conventional (while I said that - properly sited - wind is *not* 'more expensive'), and you also tossed in "solar" which had nothing to do with the cost of wind-generated power that we were talking about. ;-)

No, not false.

The TOTAL amount of subsidies going into any particular energy technology says NOTHING about what the true cost to produce electricity with that technology would be.

For that you'll need to look at the cost to deploy the technology (after factoring OUT any artificial subsidies), and the cost of the electricity produced.
