Excellent conference call with Chapin, mining sup't, et. all today. They broke through the wins (an internal shaft going from level to level) that was plotted on an old 1800's map. This makes them believe they are right at Pillar 4. The ore at the top of the hanging wall is grading about .7. As the gold is heavy it will fall more concentratedly towards the foot wall. If it is grading that high at the top it could grade well over 2 oz/ ton at the bottom. Pillar 7, which has visible gold (10 to 50 or 60 oz/ton)is very near Pillar 4.
Mining superintendent thinks probably another 3 days and they will be in Pillar 4. The vein is twisting and turning which, geologically, I am told, is a very good sign of a good deposit of gold, plus lots of galena showing up, another good indicator. They got interrupted last week in forward progress due to a mine inspection. Passed just fine.
