They are a classic example of the economic concept of "rent seeking", which has nothing to do with real estate.

It boggles the mind that there is such widespread concern over these leeches.

As Weiner keeps pointing out to anyone whose head isn't up their ass, insurance companies do nothing, but profit by denying benefits to people who need medical services.

Would any of the defenders of health insurance companies, who post here, be so kind as to tell us what they add to the health delivery system of the nation?
