| I was wondering about that. Amongst all the diverse targets of LaRouche's paranoid, grandiose expressions there are bound to be some that strike a chord with Elmat. I tried to see a consistent thread in LaRouche's political career: left, right, libertarian, authoritarian, Trotskyite, fascist, ... the only adjectives that seem to apply consistently are those that descibe his psychology, i.e. paranoid, opportunist, lying, manipulative. He is clearly intelligent, but rather bitter and twisted. What makes his case interesting is that on some issues he's closer to the truth than the mainstream media (which is, I suppose, damning with faint praise.) |
