A former insurance executive (Wendell Potter, from Cigna) talking on CNBC right now making the point that health care rationing takes place now, but is done by insurance companies that are most interested in their bottom line, and see money paid for medical procedures as "losses" for the company, although now they are calling them costs rather losses.

Like, duh. Is this some sort of great revelation that has been hidden from view?

Another example of how the very loud voices screaming about government "rationing" is simply drowning out any reasoning on this topic.
