“It is difficult to get a man to understand something,” said Upton Sinclair, “when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.” Totally agree. Tejek is reliant on government for everything, and he simply doesn't want to understand how government shouldn't be his nanny. He wants government to take care of him, so he damned well can't understand any other concept. I love my freedom from government. I pay my taxes, but I don't count on them for SHIT. And that's the way I like it. It is hard for me to understand someone actually WANTING to be controlled by government.
