"I'm sure unions were great back when corporations really were out to screw the average American." When did this change? If not for unions, there would be no weekends, no vacation, no sick leave, no eight hour days, child labor, company towns with company housing and company stores. American workers STILL don't have benefits anywhere near the European worker. I'm no fan of modern unions, and have never belonged to one. But, I see no other organization willing to stand for the American worker. Do you?
