I enjoyed it, too. but as to Waits... I didn't know who he was until a poet friend took me to see him in uhmmm.... 77 or 78 or 79. one of those years... anyways... it was a diveish joint on the ocean that seated just a couple of hundred. and out comes Tom in shorts, a white t-shirt, black socks and shoes, and a funky hat... thre was a lamppost on the stage. and his piano. that was the days of... youtube.com btw, that is a sweet song. slow but upbeat. sorta. tom did write it... ya only get so far up to the beat. :) enjoy... I've enjoyed it, also. "and I hope that I don't fall in with you. now the room is crowded, there's people everywhere..."
