Tata Motors ADRs Rise Most in 3 Weeks on Credit Suisse Upgrade
By Allen Wan

Aug. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Tata Motors Ltd., India’s biggest truckmaker, rose the most in three weeks in New York trading after Credit Suisse Group AG boosted its stock rating to “outperform” from “neutral.”

Credit Suisse analysts said they expect the Jaguar Land Rover unit to turn profitable in fiscal 2011 on a recovery in volumes. The domestic business is also set to rebound in the second half of fiscal 2010 on lower commodity costs and higher Nano sales, they said.

Tata’s American depositary receipts gained 4.7 percent to $11.58 at 12:18 p.m. New York time.
