I never liked Bush very much but I certainly didn't HOPE for his failure at the expense of my family's future.

With Bush, you at least knew your family had a future! And it wasn't the third-world impoverished future that looms under the Obama administration. Bush couldn't get Congress to act responsibly in regards to the country's economy, but at least he understood the nature of the threat from jihadists who claim no country, but desire control of the world. Now we have a President who we know little about, but that which we DO know is highly disturbing. Birthers may be wrong about Obama's nationality, but their request for more personal openness by the man in the nation's highest office is totally inline with fair expectations.

By the way, the Constitution that is being ignored (or worse, belittled) by the President provides for the continuation of government during various crises. Obama simply has to step aside for the duration of the court proceedings (as if he would do that voluntarily, but there is guidance for that, as well.)
