Good post Scott. If the reports in the Press was anywhere near
accurate, the behavour of the CEO, Cowpland is inexcusable.
There have been a number of problems in this Company the last few months
and rather than focusing on solving the problems and showing a willingness
to get down to business, there seems to be more emphasis on glitz and
a spouse. Very, very unprofessional. A better message would have been
to cancel the 'gala' and make new product announcements in a more
conventional fashion. The management has to deliver a message to the
market that until the company becomes profitable, there is no excess
spending. This mess on Monday probably delivered the exact opposite
message. I still believe there is a profit in this stock but this
'gala' and the way it was handled is tough to take. The Directors
and the executives have to ask, who is more important, the executives
or the shareholders. In this case, I am getting worried as to what
their answer would be. Sorry to babble. Regards.
