It's not that Marxists can't come up with good specific ideas; they can. The problem is that their philosophy is evil - and therefore, inevitably, their outcomes.

Their philosophy is based on the belief (sic!) that they are the only ones who has a correct understanding of the historical process -- which places them at the cutting edge of progress. Therefore, it is simply natural that they should be the ones making decisions.

Their theory - and practice - failed time after time, and produced tragic results, but... faith doesn't listen to logic. They still think that they should be in power.... for everyone's good.

The common belief that thoughtful, intelligent leadership can figure out best what's best for everyone, and can make he best decisions can be seen as a form of... soft, "undercooked" Marxism.
