To the Right Honourable (Not HRH-Mr.Fruity) Shirley Owen,

Unfortunately for you the BCSC is located in Downtown Vancouver. What you can do is visit your public library and request a copy of the British Columbia Securities Commission Handbook.

The section you want to research is the section pertaining to National Policy 41. Be warned, this book was written by lawyers for lawyers so you have to be very determined to find the relevent information. The table of contents bears no relationship to the actual contents of the book. When you get a copy you will understand what I mean. The wording, once you find the relevent section, is extremely difficult to understand.

I will try and dig up my copy and post any more relevant information.

F.Y.I Here is a legitimate reason why shareholders often don't get proxies from their brokers.

When you open up your new account one of the forms to fill out is the National Policy 41 form which asks Do you wish to receive information
from the companies you are investing in. Alot of the time people answer "NO" because they think they will be pestered by a bunch of promotional literature. By answering "No" this tells the brokerage firm not to pass on proxies, annual reports etc.

I still do not understand why Tomato has not found out why his broker did not send him his proxy. All he has to do is find out from Pacific Corporate Trust who the intermediary is that is responsible for sending out the proxies to his broker. One of the main American intermediaries is ADP.

Tomato why don't you post the name and geographical location of your Brokerage Firm here on the thread and I will find out who was supposed to send you your proxy.

When Diamond Fields first hit big in Voisey Bay November 1994, they had less than 17 million shares outstanding pre-split. When they split one year later they had over 35 million shares outstanding pre split.
The stock still went to $140+. You will probably find the same pattern with Diamet and your beloved ABER. A 20% dilution will not really affect the share price if there is a genuine discovery. If Winspear fails to find the pipe then none of this matters anyway.

Just average down when there is any indication that the insiders are loading up with cheap private placements or "GASP" they are actually buying shares in the market like the rest of us. When the VSE announces that the options have been accepted for filing that is also a good indicator.

Hey Fix seen any good movies on your travels?
Hey Surething your ADL looked really good today.
Hey George, what did you think of my movie review?

FYI The TV variety show hosted by the late Bob Crane of Hogan's Heroes fame was called the "GOLDIGGERS"
