A choice between two failed "pure" ideologies, Marxism and capitalism, is being made daily, and the result is a synthesis Marxism is the failed one... and we are certainly a far cry from "pure" capitalism... but in any case, presently those who believe in collectivist solutions are pushing hard, and they need to be pushed back. We do not want "synthesis" to swing way too far, and maybe irrevocably, in their favor, do we.... That's the whole point.
