The Budget Deficit: It Gets Worse

It seems that the horrible budget figures still include about $600 billion in revenues from a 100% auction of emissions permits under the cap-n-tax scheme. Obviously, the president hasn't realized that the climate bill he wants passed gives away 85% of permits for free (so presumably he hasn't read the bill either).
