Brinker's prediction of a failing rally followed by backing and
filling and testing of the general area of the lows in the period
ahead was never issued over CNBC. It was broadcast live Monday over
California radio station KGO San Francisco as part of his
three phase roadmap for the market, and it now appears all three
phases have developed. Phase I was the imminent turnaround of
the waterfall decline which developed Tuesday morning. Phase II
was the recover of a major portion of the Monday loss which
took place on Tuesday and early Wednesday. Phase III was the failure
of that rally to hold followed by a market rollover into a
testing phase into November which would include at least one test
of the general area of the Monday night market lows. With the
S & P futures down over 12 points as of 11 pm Wednesday night
in CME trading it is now obvious that Brinker's three phase
roadmap has appeared entirely on schedule and Phase III is
now well underway. You would be better off following the roadmap
rather than making simplistic statements about things always
being the opposite of what somebody on CNBC says.
