True that 'globalization' has resulted in manufacturing jobs moving to low wage nations... but isn't manufacturing less then 20% of our GNP now? Somewhere around a fifth of the economy?

I would not look for any actual INCREASE in the percentage of our jobs that are in manufacturing (probably the best we can hope for is a decline or halt to the loss of jobs in that area), rather, I'd look to the OTHER FOUR FIFTHS of our economy for job gains.
