Shorty, perhaps you simply don't understand how banks operate in this country?

(Colonial has to be chartered in each jurisdiction they operate in... they also ABSORBED through merger *several* local GA and FL banks of fairly long standing during their rise. Although the holding company parent was domiciled in Al, FL had been their largest market for some time, and GA was also quite sizable....)
