the corporate upgrade cycle is very robust, we have to get things to p166 or p200. we are changing everything to relational database systems and cleint server with distributed code. Meathead said I was limited to mfg'ing....not true I have a research reports in front of me that says it's happening in every industry from mfg'ing to chemical to retail..the works. Ask me an industry and I will type in some information.. this has to have a p166 or p200 minimum for 90% of the employees. then the engr's and software developers and super users need the p266 and up..we haven't stopped buying and if you take any I/S prof. journals you would know this. Or subcribe to independent research. true, japan is behind....But they cannot use technology. Europe picks up this qtr. on the retail side...the lower cost are going to make record happen. look for a 17-18% increase this qtr.
