Below is an article referring to the issue. I believe it illustrates my point re Obama on selective commentary on the health care issue re McCain tax policy. I agree with you that the Dean clip could have been edited for effect - I don't know. Such practice IMO is standard political fare.

Look - Obama is first and foremost a down and dirty Chicago politician. I think to some extent that is a necessary trait in a politician to get things done. It simply needs to be recognized.

In the context of this discussion it is only important when I sense efforts to Canonize the guy and demonize the opposition for the same policies.
