Venture investors include GM, Black and Decker, Motorola, and at least one VC group. The first commercial product to use their batteries was the Dewalt Lithium Ion line. B&D has some 7.2 volt stuff out there. They screwed it up though and their charger takes an hour instead of 5 minutes. The Norwegian Think! car is powered by A123Systems. I would expect an IPO after the economy recovers from Obamanomics. This means it would definitely follow a democrat loss of control of Congress by at least 18 months. Don't look for it to be on any exchange before 2012.
