Dealing with politicians is always a risky business. When British Columbia shut down the Kemano Completion Project, there was a lot of hardball negotiation with Alcan, including threats in the media about retroactive legislation from Premier Clark-- and Alcan is one big company. I hope that Regal is able to make a case for compensation expropriation or breach of contract or whatever... but I won't hold my breath waiting.
