These home invasions around the Houston area are getting a little unsettling. Did he have a gun cocked & locked in every room of the house? On a shelf easy to run grab? Pantry? Utility room? Garage? Each bedroom? Study? Living room?

I sure as hell do. Having said that, those got to be some bad MF's to contend with.

I remember visiting my college buds in their parent's house on Wheeler Ave. across from the UH dorms in the late 60's. Every time I knocked and they opened the door, there was a pistol in hand.

Probably not bad practice these days to open-carry on the "ranch".
