I am the polor opposite of Ayn Rand. I know my own mind. If you see similarities they are illusions.

I cut my teeth on Ayn Rand when very young, and starting on my search for understanding.

I have read many accounts of rand that she was not a very nice person.

I am a very nice person and do not have a mean bone in my body; and never had any interst in status, power or money.

Oh, and I am a bleeding heart liberal and do believe in a welfare state. Ayn Rand would cringe at my social ideas.

Universal health care, free education for all citizens from 21/2 through university. Rand also did not like social security. Wanted to get rid of it and even taxes. Social security is a god send for half the old people in our country as is medicare.

Not me, tax like hell I say, to give all children and old people health care and put all the children through college.
