I have that book on the shelve but haven't gotten into it. The red-lined Gospels, yes. If people don't understand where the pink triangle that gay/lesbians wear comes from, it is from Nazi Germany. Homosexuals were made to wear it to indentify them, and then they were taken to the camps. So it has been adopted now as a symbol of pride. anyways... point is... I can in that way idenitfy with that aspect of forgiveness... if I had lived in Nazi Germany, I would be targeted. Gay people before me were targeted there. but still... that was then... it happened. it was horrible. things might not be perfect for me here, but surely better. I do believe in forgiveness, KLP. and I don't say lightly. I think I understand where you are coming from. but the cost of not forgiving is harsh on the soul. just my experience.
