MACR at $10 is a good buying opportunity. But, you have to be looking out longer than a few months. Think more like 3 to 4 more quarters. It's taking some time for the new CEO to clean up the mess and get all the bad news out. That should be pretty much done by now, but hard to tell. I'm looking for $18 to $20 around mid next year and $25 to $26 by next year's end.

Reaction to Dreamweaver that I've been monitoring is very positive. They expect to start generating some revenues right after the turn of the new year. (WebReview had some writeups on Dreamweaver: webreview.com Flash is starting to get more visibility and sales of that product should continue to improve.

There hasn't been any mention for quite some time of their video editing product, which at one point they said would be out this past summer. This indicates a development project in deep trouble. So, we can't factor any new revenues from that product into the equation yet, or maybe ever. This bothered me for awhile, but Dreamweaver has offset that concern.

Their revenues from Windows have increased significantly, reducing their dependence on Macintosh, something which has been holding down their stock price, as the market expects Macintosh to continue to slowly fade away (probably right too!).

Macromedia will get its house in order, it's just impossible to tell how much longer it's going to take.
