Hope whatever was wrong is gone and you are doing better, unclewest! Hopefully, you have a Medicare supplement to take care of the additional charges that Medicare approves of, but doesn't pay the charge entirely. Even if the supplement pays a portion, check to see if there is a "Pharmacy Other" section that isn't covered.

As I've said before, I found out the Medicare supplement will ONLY pay charges that Medicare APPROVES of, but doesn't pay all of....

If you are admitted for a procedure or a surgery, the entire situation is different as I found out....It's the emergency situation that was a pain in the you-know-what...but going to the top resolved my questions....<ggg>
