Well, that makes a great case for the bankers and mortgage brokers that brought the country to the brink of a depression worse than the 1930's.

They were out to make a PROFIT and they made tremendous profits.

And now we're all the better for it because of the innovations they have brought us. They brought us adjustable rate mortgages and derivatives that could leverage the financial wealth of our entire country many times over.

We should now leave the health care industry alone too, so that it doesn't just represent 16% of our economy but can move to 50% or more. Maybe we can get every 3 year old in for a full gene scan so we can start treating FUTURE illnesses immediately. Of course MOST of America won't be able to AFFORD this fantastic healthcare but it will keep our healthcare industry at the TOP of its game and keep profits growing consistently. The wealthiest will do SPECTACULARLY WELL and live to 150 and profits will grow exponentially. We'll have breakthroughs in medicine that were only seen previously in science fiction. Of course only the world's richest 1% (and all of Congress of course) will be able to afford it but the rest of us will be able to READ about it.
