Excellent point, Buddy.

I think drug companies have been able to sort of "by pass" the patent thing by issuing new versions of drugs with something called "CR" (or controlled release).

It's exactly the same drug but now the "capsule" on it it breaks down more slowly so you get it over a period of hours rather than immediately.
