Greenspan was in the inner circle until her death. The wife is irrelevant in this discussion.

Bush practiced nothing even remotely resembling capitalism as discussed by Rand. Don't argue Rand with me because I've read everything written by her or about her (pretty much).

Movements you value (and I): independent progressives, radical feminists, democratic socialists, Marxists, and so forth were not honored in the Bush years. But that is not capitalism per se. He DID honor all manner of RELIGIOUS movement..and THAT IS NOT CAPITALISM"

Stop thinking of Capitalism as evil and we can get past this. TRUE capitalism allows for just as much true compassion as any slave society will parcel out to friends and family!! I guess you know what I mean, because you are surely not stupid. Absence of capitalism does not default to compassion, DOES IT??
