He's from eastern WA....the red part of the state and the part that is not doing as well. Think West Germany = Seattle = Blue = prosperous; East Germany = Spokane = Red = not so prosperous. If he can't afford $150/month for health insurance for his kid, he needs a different job. Or something. He could afford it. Otherwise, it wouldn't matter to him that he owed all this money to the hospital. He's just thumb his nose at them.
