>>Stop thinking of Capitalism as evil and we can get past this. TRUE capitalism allows for just as much true compassion as any slave society will parcel out to friends and family!! I guess you know what I mean, because you are surely not stupid. Absence of capitalism does not default to compassion, DOES IT??>

I will always argue Rand with you. You act like I have no ability to discern her for myself. We just disagree.

I never said capitalism was evil. Once again you assume something about my philosophy which simply is not true.

Capitalism is no more evil that a gun or a fork. It is just a tool. Nothing more. It is the best too for determening the proper price of things.

It is not I, but rather Rand and Greenspan who misunderstand capitalism. She roantasized it and they both thought capitalism was self regulating. That is just plain silly and greenspan said so recently.

Out of capitalism spawn large cororations. A corporation by its very nature is sociopathic. Its only purpose is to make money. Corporations spoiled the land until government started forcing them to clean up their mess and unions forced them to protect their workers.

Because corporations are sociopathic by nature society must provide the conscience. A civilized Society cannot funtction without a conscience.

You read all of Rand. Well, I also read Rand and the rest of the great thinkers and few would have agreed with Rand.

Most of the great thinkers wrote of compassion.
