>>And let me add that there is NOTHING in Rand's philosophy that obstructs or discourages a life of service to others, to the planet, or to anything one happens to "VALUE". NOTHING WHATSOEVER.<<

I believe there are higher levels of conscienceness we cannot even imagine. We can see how much smarter we are than a cat or dog and can imagine how they see the world and how we see it; so we should be able to imagine sentient beings that understand things magnitudes of degrees above us.

Like seee the univers in multiple diminsions and god only knows what else. Which in a sense makes anything we know moot in relation.

Rands philosophy makes it hard for society (she does not like taxes or welfare programs)to protect all the children.

Sometimes the child only has society. We sure do not take care of all of them now.

They are all innocents, and society should be taking care of them: food, sheltor, safety and medical care. I am not going to listen to someone telling me not to worry about the children-lol.

I know people who feel like that, and I have fought them all my life. Not likely to stop now. That is pure nonsense.

Denmark and Sweden take care of, and protect, all their children.
