In fact until recently, as often as not, little kids were working in sweatshop factories 12 hours a day seven days a week at the age of 8. What Charels Dickons wrote about. Kids still work in sweatshops in third world countries where capitalism (commerce) controls everything and government nothing, like Somalia and much of Asia.
