but how will you shut the hospital down if you don't take it to court? see, that's not about the money... but bringing suit is the way to force change and decent practice.

no, money will not bring his health back, but if he is less able to care for himself as a result of their action, do they not owe it to him to contribute to his care in the coming years? and if not that... then the suit is to force action against them.

if you don't sue, then you would need to bring a legal charge against them.
