Actually, it's been a very mild summer here in Southern California too.

I still contend that the "global warming" that we have seen in the past 150 years is just normal cyclical variations that may seem extreme because everyone is starting their measurement from a low in the cycle (rather than the mean).

It would be like taking the low temperature in the winter and comparing it to the high in the summer and using that to determine the trend. Things will seem the worst right as the temperatures are about to turn south again.

Kinda like how the stock market works...everything is the most bullish at the top and most bearish at the bottom. Right now we have the Global Warmers who are bullish on high temperatures. Temperatures are always going to rise!!! And yet there are signs that the climate is going to turn around. The BPHOT has reversed into a column of Os and the BPCOLD has built a solid base and reversed into a column of Xs.
