One thing that puzzles me about the Left is - How can they be so sure that in 2 - or in 10 - years we will not get another government, which they will detest more than they did Bush..... and who will be messing with the healthcare system in ways they (the Left) will not like.... and the system will be there, already in place, ready and available to be messed with.

Hate to tell you but the Left thinks they've won it for good. They actually think they're going to consolidate the power base -- by paying off unions, by rigging the ballot boxes, using thug politics, and that they won't have to give up power until whatever they do is guaranteed to become a permanent part of the bureaucracy. Untouchable like Medicare/Social Security.

They actually believe this. They have been delivered by the Messiah.
