"how do you plan to enact this philosophy."

I HAVE NO GRAND SCHEME FOR ENACTING ANYTHING, I ASSURE YOU!

It is merely a discussion and (as occurs for me in most discussions) I have learned somewhat of how others think and view the world and something of what motivates. And I have learned somewhat of myself.

One of the other reasons I entered the discussion was simply to defend the dead, because they are incredibly disadvantaged when it comes to conducting their own defense.

If I see a role for the philosophy of Objectivism it is clearly not envisioned that earth would ever develop such an idealized community. Of course there are groups of objectivists meeting throughout the world for various reasons and in their own way they can participate in the democratic process. As you know, societies can go awfully wrong as the centuries cycle through time. We have seen Stalinism. We have seen the crusades. We have seen societies devouring their own people and bankrupting their spirit. When social leaders try to put a society back together again, they need some sort of political guidelines and ethical precepts. They won't get those from Sartre or Camus. And they won't get them from anyone who believes there ARE NO OBJECTIVE PREMISES to prop up the affairs and the dreams of the human animal.

Rand's many writings and essays offer a wealth of reference for social leaders leaning toward a society which favors individual rights and freedoms over various collectivist "ethics", and her philosophical premises provide a method for measuring how far constitutions or social policies deviate from the ideals set down in Objectivist literature.

I can appreciate your goals of understanding more and defending the weaker. I can only assume that you consider them subjective goals so unless humanity is intrinsically "good" and caring, I suggest that it will remain an esoteric philosophy for intellectuals to mumble about in their ivory towers far above the streets and apart from the weak and the needy and the poor, the sick, and the afflicted. So I don't see it offering much hope to humanity.
