Congrats on a great new thread !

Question: Why doesn't this thread show up on the ASND page ?

Maybe it would be constructive if someone with more time and a better memory than I could go back and take a look at COMS Jan-May 97 and BAY 95-May 97. I would be very interested in seeing how these co's situations back then compare and contrast with ASND's current dilema.

Why did these stocks fall from their heights?
What caused the street to hate these stocks to the point of taking COMS down to 24 and BAY to 15 ?
When these two finally bottomed what great change occurred to cause them to abruptly take off again?
Why does everybody now love these stocks?
How have the fundamentals at COMS and BAY changed since they were on bottom?
Can we apply what we have learned from our analysis of COMS and BAY to ASND ?
If so, what are ASND's near and intermediate prospects? Or in other words, what is it going to take for ASND to achieve the same type of turn around we saw in COMS and BAY ?
Do we need to call Al Dunlap ?
Lastly what is the likelyhood of ASND getting bought out by someone wanting into the internet backbone market? Since there's only 3 real players (CSCO, COMS, ASND) in what is supposed to be a very high growth market, surely someone else must want in. Right ?

Regards,

Lee

PS- I'm asking all these questions because me and my 12k shares at 41 thought we had a handle on ASND. Now that I'm down $168k, I'm starting to have some doubts. Can you say bye-bye $$$ ?
