No, I didn't know what DRG was....could it be that this is why the cost of the drugs were billed individually on the Dec problem and the "observational admit" that I had....I eventually really questioned that "Pharmacy Other" part of the bill, must have raised some good questions, and eventually the hospital and insurance allowed as to how it needed to be 're-coded'...they must have decided I didn't fit into the "70%" that never bothered with the specifics...

The more I learn, the less I know...How could Obama and his henchmen possibly even consider putting together a monster bill, and giving it two weeks to be passed and signed....Arrogance has no master, I guess, except for the current WH.

Recall that Medicare reimbursements generally come as a package deal - the so called DRG's. The hospital gets paid for the entire admission, without breaking down the costs into elements. Meds are covered as part of the package.
