With regard to the systemic support of worthlessness......

Years ago I came back from an overseas stint of government service. Due to my low cash reserves I stayed with my mother for a while. When I applied for student aid I was refused because I still lived at home...despite the fact that I had been an overseas government employee for years, and I contributed to the upkeep of the house. Can not stay with family. I could have gotten aid if I had moved out gone on assistance, collected food stamps, and been worthless.

Later in life I found myself unemployed. I applied for unemployment and was refused, because I was going to school at the time to try and make myself more employable. I quit school, went to the beach regularly, and was granted unemployment.

I hate the system that does this. But it was really nice at the beach and I got in one hell of good period of body surfing. Got to thank that bitch judge at CA state board of unemployment for that!
