<New agey stuff is okay, mainstream Christian - eek - is the viewpoint.> Is the trend for sure... probably because "New Agey" updates spirituality to take the best of what is available...including as close as possible the original teachings of Buddhism, Taoism, Science, etc... mainstream Christian religionism (not the teachings of Christ) will continue to lose interest unless they keep up with the truth that is revealing itself through time, rather than make up their own translations of teachings (which is pretty much what has happened for the past 2000 years. Of course a lot of mainstream sects (Lutheran, Methodist, etc) have been quicker than some but even Catholics and Anglicans are moving somewhat. They better, many church teachings are obviously false. This pope isn't doing us any good. DAK
