He was not a communist. He assassinated Kennedy AFTER he returned from Russia disallusioned.

and Sirhan was no conservative.

Arabs by tradition are conservative. Most religious peoples are! Sirhan was opposed to Kennedy's favoritism towards Israel which was the liberal position at the time.
