It seems due to a flood of gawkers CYMI has beat out 5000 other stocks as the short interest freak show that everyone wants to peek at. The eye-popping short interest number at over 30% of the complete floating supply of a stellar growth company with a mortal lock on the future of the entire semi-conductor industry and Moore's Law is just too awesome for people to pass up. I think also there are certain interests that know they are sitting on a powder keg at a pyromaniac convention and they just can't sleep. Like moths drawn to the light of a fire that burns them they can't help returning to review the scene of the criminal accident. They probably are most interested in this: viwes.com A stock with the minimal float that CYMI has should only be trading a couple hundred thou shares a day normally. At a Mt. Everest sized 3.6 million shares short that would translate to about 18 straight solid days of 100% stock purchases (w/ no sells) just to cover. That's why I tell people to have their broker put their CYMI shares in a cash account with a separate number from your margin account so your broker can't lend out your shares to be shorted without you knowing. The other thing is to e-mail and write Akins and his Board to go forward with their plans for a 1 million share buyback. When their banker steps up to the window with the $35 million watch the stock skyrocket immediately before they can even buy back many shares.
