I can't believe you're applying TA (No pun, nor offense to you or Bo) to this market panic! Barb! Time to power-down the machine and T-H-I-N-K.

This break in the US stock market is a self-correcting mechanism, and it signaled the culmination of a currency crisis(vs the US Dollar, no less), not the beginning of one. The crisis started in Thailand early during the summer. Economies are slowing, including ours; interest rates are declining, especially ours; inflation is supressed some more; and Yahoo's hyper-growth is unaffected (except, of course, by all the extra promotion it is getting in the mainstream press as a leading financial resource for TAF's.)

If the Southeast Asian economies go to negative growth, it would take only four tenths of a point of global GDP. The banking system is sound. Relax, Barb, nothing's changed but stock prices. EGBOK.
