To Apply For H1N1 Vaccine Trials In Fourth Quarter-Reuters Tuesday, 1 Sep 2009 03:47pm EDT Reuters reported that Novavax, Inc. will apply to U.S. health regulators in the fourth-quarter to start human clinical trials of its new H1N1 swine flu vaccine. Last month, Novavax said its vaccine protected ferrets against the new pandemic strain. Ferrets are the closest animals to humans when it comes to being infected with influenza. reuters.com
