Example of Yahoo hyper-growth.

In the last year and a half (6 quarters), Yahoo has only managed to return $200,000 in operating earnings.

In the last year and a half, Yahoo has still not done $100 mil. in sales (total).

Yahoo is facing increasing competition and pressure on margins as advertising rates are actually DECREASING.

All this talk about "brand recognition" and "hyper-growth" is a red herring. Yahoo is a web-site selling banner ads. It is not a "media company".

Current market capitalization = $2.1 billion.

But hey...they give away cute T-shirts!
