I'm not sure it IS "both sides".

I believe MOST of the anti-reform protesters are speaking spontaneously without some kind of organizing influence as was alleged by the Left.

These people are frightened, and rightfully so, at the prospect of government involving itself even more extensively than it already is, in these affairs.

Some health care reform is needed and most people seem to acknowledge that. But they've seen their government at work and the prospect of it taking over health care is just daunting to a lot people. The result is some fairly raw nerves and emotional outbursts.

And frankly, the Left has taken FULL ADVANTAGE of those emotional outbursts to make the attendees look foolish and to marginalize their concerns. My wife attended a townhall with Mike Ross -- 700 people were there, and the questions were highly relevant and there were no crazies apparently there. And of course, it didn't make any news, either -- nobody noticed when it was just a group of concerned citizens showing up to ask legitimate questions.
