I'm not sure it IS "both sides".

I believe MOST of the anti-reform protesters are speaking spontaneously without some kind of organizing influence as was alleged by the Left.


I think what MOST do or don't do is irrelevant. My point is that the same tactics are used by some segment of all sets of partisans on all issues.

I am assuming that posts like that are intended to convey that "the other guys" are "x" where "x" is the epithet du jour. My reaction is "pots and kettles." There is "x" going on across the board. Partisanship over substance, I say. In fact, by charging the other side with x, people demonstrate and foster the partisanship over substance of their own side. Debating who hit whom first or lower must lends legitimacy to the tactics and engages you as a party to the food fight.
