I don't know if Steele said it but I do think it is likely true that Kennedy had access to treatments that would not be available to the ordinary person under Obamacare.

I believe it is clear that under Obamacare, to "save money", you have to cut treatments. There are no two ways about it. In effect, they were planning to take money from Medicare to pay for health insurance for people who won't buy their own.

That Limbaugh talked about Kennedy having to go before a "death panel" if the bill had passed?

I don't listen to Limbaugh but he is an entertainer, not a news source.

Or how many of the talking heads spent a lot of time speculating about how the Democrats might use the fact that health care reform, particularly a public option, was Kennedy's signature issue for going on 4 decades?

No speculation. We know Kennedy favored socialized medicine.

Which brings us to you. What did you expect, just because Kennedy had died were people supposed to forget his push for it?

No, and I fully expected the Ds to use his death to try and further their cause. Although it backfired, we saw them do it with Wellstone.

Namely, a cynical attempt to politicize his death.

It is precisely what the Ds did. And what I said they would do the instant I heard he'd died.
